“How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?” — Psalm 13:1 (NIV)
For an ADHD or neurodivergent brain experiencing “time blindness”, the word soon is torturous. When the DDO says you will hear back “soon,” or a panel date is “eventually” coming, a week can feel like a decade of paralysis. Waiting is an active, exhausting state, but God is not intimidated by our impatience or our desperate need for a clear timeline.
